I think this in the book this it means kaira is the damsel in distress, because she feels she needs help seeing as she has suspicions about her manager/dad cheating on her mom, she isn't being tould any info on her trust fund, and everyone in her band doesn't like her very much.

Would I Want To Be A Singer

After seeing what Kaira's life I would want to be a Singer. I would be like "charge it on my room" and also I would be able to boss people around, like a bodyguard, which I would call fat head, because I would want a fat bodyguard. I would have millions of fans cooling me down when its a hot day. Oh also I would have millions of people fans to adore me, But there's alot of stranger dangers that would want to kill me or etc. so I would want to be a "D" lister, like ellen degeneres!

Small Steps: Theme

Trust: Trust is something you can really tell in this book. For one example is when Ginny and Ginny's mom trusted Armpit to take Ginny to the concert alone. Another is when he trusted X-ray with his money, thinking that he was going to get it back.

Munipulation: You can tell that in this book theres alot of munipulation. X-ray kept munipulating Armpit by asking him for money. Also when tatianna's friends were munipulating her not to go out with Armpit

Anger: Anger was one of the more used emotions in this book such as when, Karia was angry at Armpit for telling X-ray about the letters and dumped coffe in his shirt. There was also a part when Armpits mom got mad at him for bringing Ginny back from the concert so late.

Proud: Proud was an emotion that was shown later in the book, like when Armpits mom was proud of him for saving Karia, and being a hero for once

Embarresment: The theme embarresment was a theme that wasn't hard to find. For example when Kaira was embarresed at Armpit because he actually got the letters from kaira and when Armpit had to tell Kaira that he thought she said save me Armpit, Im a danzle in distress.

Do you wonder what happened to some of the inmates from Camp Green Lake after they got released? Well in Small Steps Armpit (Theodore) has just been released from Camp green Lake and is taking small steps towards a better life, Until X-ray,his friend from Camp Green Lake, asks him to help him with a scheme to sell Kaira DeLeon tickets. Everything was going good until Armpit asked for one of the ticket to take his friend. X-ray gave him the tickets but they were counter fit. As a result he meet Kaira. Armpit must make choices that will affect him and Kaira and if he takes to big of a step he will be cough by the currents.

I think this book is terrific. Its a realistic fiction (I think) book so I don't usually read these kinds of books unless I am forced to in school, but it was an definite exception.My favorite Character is Ginny. She is theodores friend and she has a disablity. You will get to know better later in the story. I loved how the author showed detail in this book. Its as if the author was there writing every little detail.Towards the end I thought it got a little violent, but it was an important part of the book. Another great thing the author added to the book was Kaira's lyrics. They help show whats going on in the story. The lyrics usaully show up when something big happens.

I would recommend this book to readers 11 and older, because you have to be some what amture to read this book. I would also recommend it to people who love music. Its simply a musical book. It is a realistic fiction book so I usually don't read these kinds of book but this one is was definite exception. If you think this is a holes sequeal its not, its just another book with characters from holes, but it is still a wondeful book.

small steps: police station/letters

Police Station
When armpit had to go down to the police station and watch X-ray get interviewed armpit felt scared problaby because if X-ray said the wrong thing then they both would end up in jail. Armpit was behind a window that looked like a mirror from the inside. next to Theodore was a person who could tell body movements to tell if they were telling the truth. Theodore was trying to send a telapathic beam to X-ray to tell him what to say but that was only in his imagination.

Kaira's letters
The letters Kaira sent to theodore were somewhat not suppost to be sent because she thought that she was pathetic writing these letters that confesed her love toward theodore. To her they were really embbarassing letters that were suppost to never of been sent. I think she sent them on purpose, because i don't think she would of actually mailed it to him if that were the case.

I voted for Ginny as my favorite character because even though she has cerel pasly, which is a birth defect shes always positive and look at the brighter side if life.Shes not a shame of having cerel palse which in my opinion is very suprising since she is a child. she expresses her self in diffrent ways.for example each one of Ginny's stuff animals has a diesies such as her stuffed bunny-person Coo. Coo has Lucimia but is the strongest one of all of her stuffed animals. I think Ginny is just like Coo. strong amd brave even though she has cerebral palsy.She is a good friend also and that is why she is my favorite character.

I love this book. It's about two stories. One is Armpits life after he got released from Camp Green Lake.He had been living a fairly simply life until X-ray, his old friend from Camp Green lake, showed up with a plan and he wanted Theodores (Armpit) help. The other story is about a famous pop star, kinda like britney spears). Shes on a tour
